FILM-O-MANIA{COIN-OPERATED}

WINNERS

  1. Vijayalaxmi

The thing that I liked about the film is the theme it is based on and also the time management of the film that despite being a five minutes short film, is being able to deliver a message which is essential in today's world.

There are a few things that I learned here. The first being, the hardworking, that if you do work hard you can achieve anything and everything. The second thing being, there is no age limit to fulfill our dreams or express it. Third thing being, you have to be ambitious enough to achieve things that have certain bars to them. Fourth thing being, you should never give up on anything and everything, it may take your whole lifetime to fulfill it but you never give up. Fifth thing being, no work should be considered lesser given less important just because it is small, every work and contribution matters. Sixth thing being, even if it is a bit which is helping you fulfill your dream you shouldn't take it for granted. Last thing being, you should never stop chasing your dreams as there is no age limit to dream or to fulfill it.

 2.Piyush Debnath

When I saw this short film first thought that came up in my mind was Try Try but don't cry. Success achievement could be a goal of many people but attaining satisfaction is rare. The kid in this short film saw a dream to fly to the moon and worked hard to make it possible. Here the lemonade selling phase of his life could be a metaphor for his constant hard work to achieve his goal. He might have suffered from the worst phases in his life but he never gave up on his dream. This happened because he believed in himself, he believed in his dream which made his will power stronger day by day. Determination and sincerity towards work are important factors to achieve a goal.

 3.Aakash Jain

The best thing I liked is that one should never lose hope if you have a dream. If you truly believe in it, work on it, you'll be able to reap positive results. Also, patience is the key to success. The protagonist of the video spent his whole life selling lemonades just to fulfill his dream of flying and going to space. Also one should remember that every drop of hard work counts. One should never think that their hard work is not giving them positive results, but one should always stay positive and keep working for their dreams. The best part was that they hope to reach heights was the same in the Oldman and didn't change since childhood. The charm and freshness remained unaltered and unchanged. The ending video didn't show the Oldman in the plane when he reached the sky but in the video, it was the child which was shown onboard reflecting how our childhood dreams can come true only if we believe in ourselves and work on it.

SPECIAL MENTION

  1. Priyal Golchha

This was the best short film of this project. The concept of working hard to make your dreams into reality is too breathtaking. In the end, all the hard work pays off and feels worth it. We often let go of our childhood dreams when nothing works our way, but the key is patience and self-belief. Believing in oneself always pushes us to keep going, keep working on it. And even when the slightest of disappointment seep in, looking back and seeing our dreams, always works.

 2.Ayushi Gupta

I liked the dedication that the kid had for his dream that when his mom didn't allow him to ride on the coin-operated rocket ship ride he used the coin he had with him but then he realizes instead of that ride he just moved back and forth. He thinks this happened because he didn't put enough coins. So, then he decides to work hard to collect more coins by selling lemonade which took him several years to collect the coins but he never gave up which was just amazing. This teaches a lesson that no matter how long you would have to work hard to achieve your dream you should never just give up. As the result would be worth the hard work is done to achieve it.
