2. Russian Doll
It's probably the finest shows on Netflix. Russian Doll is the
perfect blend of mystery, comedy, and drama. The storyline is amazing which is
complemented by the superb portrayal of 'Nadia' by Natasha Lyonne.
The story revolves around a woman who is stuck in an inescapable
birthday party. It's not like the other 'stuck in the loop' storylines. Russian
Doll is about many things, which the audience themselves have to interpret
while going on the journey of solving the mystery and confusion with 'Nadia'
who has her interpretations about the phenomenon.
3. Dead To Me
Dead to me is a dark comedy with a little bit of mystery. It's one
of my personal favorites. Once you start watching but you can't stop until
secrets are revealed and every piece starts to fit in like the puzzle.
The show is about 2 women; Jen, who loses her husband in a hit and run, and is determined to solve the crime, meets with Judy who recently suffered a tragic loss herself in a support group. The two women become unlikely friends and help each other through their grief. The storyline explores the weirdly funny sides of grief, loss, and forgiveness and how the two women deal with their losses and deal with their haunting secrets. With season 2 on its way in May, it's the perfect time to binge-watch the show.
4.Itaewoon Class
A rollercoaster of dramatic
experiences where a group of young people come together as strangers &
prove their point to the unreasonable world, this story shows how the children
of rich father take advantage of their position by doing any unlawful activity
& the poor who doesn’t have influences are affected, how they are looked
down. It also shows one of the main issues the youth who are bisexual are
facing, how they are insulted based on their sexuality. This is a South Korean
series of 16 episodes with an amazing plot & songs
5.Sex Education
Sex Education is a British
comedy-drama starring Asa Butterfield as Otis, an awkward and insecure
teenager, and Gillian Anderson as his mother, who is a sex therapist. The
series shows how Otis with no experience in the love department teams up with
Maeve to set up an underground sex therapy clinic to cater to their classmates'
problems. As the show progresses, Otis himself tries to overcome his trauma,
which he had always avoided confronting till now. The storyline also depicts
the struggles of Otis's friends. You can see every character growing throughout
the series. Sex Education is very entertaining with delightful comedy sometimes
