TELLYKAZAM :- Legion: An Experience Unforgettable And Unforgiving

The beauty of what the mind can do when given the freedom to explore the hidden depths of the unknown is limitless. The twists and turns that thoughts can take when released from the cage of uncertainty are priceless to watch unfold in front of your bare eyes. Many movies and shows have tried to touch upon this uncaged madness over the years, though very few have succeeded in making it an on-screen reality.

One such show that has made this dream a reality now and has surpassed various thought-barriers is FX’s Legion. This show has actually hit the TV Universe like an unseen storm, with the ups and downs that it has showcased since its start back in 2017. The word “Legion” that stands for “more than one or many” has produced some mind-boggling productions over the years.

However, none of the previous experiences can be in any way compared to what this show brings to the table. The overall experience is just so good that, while most shows do tend to seem better with an added “buzz”, this show is the “high”.

What started off rather slow and steady, has now surely won the race with regards to an unexplainable experience. The story revolves around the mutant Legion, David Charles Haller, the son of Professor X from the X-Men comics. Not many may know of David, but he is the mutant son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller.

Season one paved the path to discovery for the “Mutant God”, as David learnt more about the truth of his existence. The journey that started with the first episode, seemed vague at first. Despite that, with time, the learning process went from steady to crazy, in the matter of a few episodes. Well, that escalated quickly for sure.

From being mentally sick (which was showcased initially, only to find out that his mind was shared by the Shadow King, Amahl Farouk), to becoming the most powerful mutant in the world, things did go rather berserk. It wasn’t just easy for the characters to absorb so much, but the fans that understood what was happening, actually wanted more.

Writing about the entire show in an “Instant-article” (pun intended), wouldn’t do justice to the whole story, which has endless points to talk about. However, three seasons of such a brilliant show can only be experienced once in a life-time and the pace that it picks up, make things reach a new “high” every time.

Eventually, at the end of it all (season 3), David does something unforgettable, though it is forgotten. What a way to end what had gone so strong, rather never ever started at all. Ring a bell?

Hopefully, there is more to come. What has been experienced so far, is a wonder in itself. What might be experienced from here now, could change the entire course of the show. If Daredevil and The Punisher were “unforgiving”, this takes the notch up a whole new level. All you need is a “sane” mind, to lose, forever. Cheers!!
